    South America is the fourth largest continent. Asia, Europe, and North America have more people. It covers 12 percent of the worlds land area. It has about every single climate and land scape. 
     South America has one fourth of the worlds known kinds of animals. Turtles grow  large on the Galapagos Island. 
     Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Guyana, Paraguay, Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia,Uruguay,and French Guyana are all countries in South America. South America borders the Caribbean Sea.  It's really hot in most South American land areas. The Andes Mountains have a very cold climate.The Peru current of the Pacific Ocean cools the shore. The Patagonian Plateau gets little rainfall. The rivers of South America are the Amazon and the Rio de la platasy stem  formed by the Paranoia Paraguay, Orinoco, and Sao Francisco. The Amazon drains 24,00,000 square miles. 
     Brazil is the largest country in South America. It has a very hot climate.
