The Online Campus Program is an option offered to District students who desire computer-based instruction in a flexible, nontraditional setting. Instead of attending School District of the City of Erie schools, the student receives instruction through Internet-based courses. It is the position of the School District of the City of Erie that the students who are successful in home based cyber education programs demonstrate effective independent work habits and a personal commitment to learning. Strong parental support and participation is vital to student success.

The Blended Online Campus Program is an option offered to Erie City School District students who desire computer-based instruction in conjunction with the support of a classroom teacher. Students would attend the Online Campus program at Central Tech, with access to on-line course work in the presence of a certified classroom teacher. At any given time, students may be working independently on-line, in small groups with other students, or one-on-one with the classroom teacher. The blended learning environment provides the content support of the traditional classroom within the flexible environment of online learning. The flexibility of this program truly provides "a school for one."

Both Online and Blended Campus Program students in good standing enjoy all of the academic, extra-curricular, athletic and social opportunities available to traditional District students.

The School District of the City of Erie Board of Education established the Online Campus Program and reserves the right to deny admission to the program if it does not serve the best educational interests of the student.
