Coming soon Central Tech will be holding a Coins For a Cancer challenge between homerooms. Students and faculty are to bring in change(coins) to their homerooms. The homeroom with the most raised wins a pizza party. Easy right? Well guess again, if a student goes to a homeroom other than their own and donates dollar bills then the amount they donated to that homeroom will be subtracted from their total amount raised by their homeroom.

Mr.Pundt has agreed that if our school can raise $20,000 from now untill may that he will dye his hair pink! So try to donate as much money as you can! If every student brings $20 our goal will be reached! So donate if you want to see Mr. Pundt with pink hair!

John Kanzius's research has proven to be successful at destroying cells. Carbon nano-particles were injected into a specific location of a liver, and then put under a low energy radio wave. Within seconds the liver heated up and killed the cells in the area that the carbon nano-particles were injected while leaving the surround cells unscathed. Experts believe that human trials are atleast 3years away, but John Kanzius didnt want to hear this. He wants to see the machine work and have a doctor tell a patient that the cancer has been cured before he dies.

John Kanzius, a former broadcast executive from Pennsylvania and a cancer patient, invented a machine that he believes will kill cancerous cells without killing the unhealthy cells. A patient will be injected with gold or carbon nanoparticles that will search the body and attach to canerous cells. The patient will then step into the machine and be given a dose of radio frequency waves. The radio frequency waves will then heat up the nanoparticles killing the canerous cells leaving the healthy cells nearby untouched. This process will only take a few moments and you wont feel a thing.

While testing his research Kanzius also found a way to burn saltwater, giving off energy. Kanzius says if someone wants to buy up the rights to the technology, that would be fine. He would use the funds to finance his quest to cure cancer.
