SCHOOLS
OPEN FRIDAY

While cold arctic air will continue into Friday, predicted wind chill values are not expected to again reach a dangerous range.

School is expected to be in session on Friday, February 27
.

As always, parents may use discretion to decide what is best for their child. The option to keep children home when weather conditions are extreme is always at the parents' discretion and the school understands and respects their decisions. In such cases, absences will be excused when verified by a note from a parent/guardian that an absence is weather-related.

Due to weather-related school closings, Erie's Public Schools are also required to make up the canceled instructional time during the 2014-2015 school year.
