The Infinite Campus Parent Portal is a communication tool for parents to access, grades, attendance, reports and other student information.

How do I access the portal?

Either through the districts web-page www.eriesd.org or directly through https://campus.eriesd.org/campus/portal/erie.jsp Please "bookmark" this URL after you receive your activation key.

Do I need any special software?

No, just internet access.

What happens if I forget my id/password?

If you do not remember your id/password, click on the link that says "Problems logging in", https://campus.eriesd.org/campus/portal/erie.jsp?section=problems The Infinite Campus system will automatically send your id and password to the email address you have specified. If you do not remember your original email address and need your id/password, send an email to parentportal@eriesd.org with your full name and telephone number.

I didn't receive or lost the letter with the activation key. What should I do?

The information is continuously updated.

You can update your email address at any time using the portal. To add/change your telephone number, contact the main office at your school.

Electronic Access to Student Information

The School District of the City of Erie supports a secure internet site that enables electronic access to student information; enhancing communication between parents/guardians, students, teachers and administrators.

A. Rights and Responsibilities

Portal access is a district service offered to all current and active parents/guardians of The School District of the City of Erie. Access to student information from the Internet is a privilege not a right. Only after a family has enrolled their child(ren) in The School District of the City of Erie will a parent/guardian and/or student be authorized to activate a portal account. When a student withdraws or graduates from The School District of the City of Erie their access will be inactivated. Parents/guardians, students and staff must understand and practice proper and ethical use of technology.

B. Accessible Information

The School District of the City of Erie reserves the right to add, modify or delete functions viewed via the Internet site at any time without notice, including but not limited to the functions listed below.

1. Attendance

2. Class schedule

3. Report Cards and Interim Reports

4. Student demographics

5. Emergency contact information

6. Immunizations

7. Assessment data

C. Electronic Web Access Agreement

Each parent/guardian will receive via mail, an access code that will enable them to log on to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal site and create a userid (login name) and password.

D. Use of the system

Parents/guardians and students are required to adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Parents/guardians will act in a responsible, ethical, and legal manner when accessing the portal.

2. Parents/guardians will not attempt to harm or destroy the school or the district's data or networks.

3. Parents/guardians will not attempt to access information or any account assigned to another user.

4. Parents/guardians will not use this Internet site for any illegal activity, including violation of Federal and State Data Privacy laws. Anyone found to be in violation of these laws would be subject to civil and/or criminal prosecution.

5. Parents/guardians who identify a security problem within the Portal must notify the District immediately.

6. Parents/guardians will not share their password with anyone, including their own child(ren).

7. Parents/guardians should not set their computer to automatically login to the Parent Portal site.

E. Security Features

1. Access is made available with a secure Internet site.

2. Account holders are responsible for not sharing their passwords and to properly protect or destroy any printed/electronic documentation generated from this site.

3. Three unsuccessful login attempts will disable the user's account. Until the school has verified the assigned user to the locked account, the account will remain locked. In order to use the account again the user will need to contact their child's school.

4. The users will be automatically logged off if they leave their web browser open and inactive for a period of time.

5. The Parent/guardian account will be inactivated when all their child(ren) have either withdrawn or graduated from The School District of the City of Erie, or a court action denies the parent/guardian access to the student's information.
