Antoine Makes An Impression
  
 This
story takes place in the mid 1800's in the City of Paris, France. Antoine,
the lead character is a young Frenchman who wants to be a painter, and begins
working in an Art Studio as an apprentice for a conservative artist.
Antoine is having a difficult time working for this traditional artist but
doesn't fully understand the nature of his discontent. With help from
Anna, the young Parisian girl who sells flowers, he "escapes" the
studio and begins to realize that he is destined to be a new kind of artist, one
who is able to look and appreciate the world in a new exciting way. |
