The Mystery of the Dragon

Rebecca, Adam, Stephanie,
and Silvia heard Mrs. Felix tell Mrs. Barker that all the books on dragons
were missing!
Nathan, Andrew, and
Alexandria followed a trail of scales through the gym, down the stairs,
past the thunderous boilers, to the old coal room.
The students tip-toed
very quietly ahead until they stood in the doorway of the dark room.
As they stood shaking, they saw a pair of glowing yellow eyes. Just
then a small poof of fire lit up the room as the creature breathed.
"A dragon!" they shouted. |
