After School Programs

Pfeiffer-Burleigh Elementary School offers a wide variety of After School Programs to its students including:

   
   
   
   
CHAMPS: Grant funded PA enrichment program for at risk students in the 4th through 6th grades. The program meets daily from 2:30p.m. - 5:30p.m. Focus is on academics, physical education, and social skills. Bus transportation home is provided.
   
Read To Succeed: Federal reading program for grades kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd. The program meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30p.m. - 3:30p.m.
   
GAPS: 5th grade PSSA preparation program. The program meets twice a week from 2:30p.m. - 4:00p.m.
   
Classroom Plus: State program for intermediate grade students with low reading and math scores. The program meets five days a week and is based on an individual tutoring schedule. Teachers will tutor small groups of 5th graders. A tutor can be requested 1 - 2 days a week. Each student receives 20 hours of tutoring time.
