The third graders at Perry read the story, "Officer Buckle and Gloria." This fictional story teaches the importance of
teamwork through the entertaining, yet unrealistic, adventures of a police officer and his K9 partner. To show the children
the real teamwork that exists in the K9 division of the Erie City Police department, Corporal DeBacco and his partner Meko, along
with Officer Yates and his partner Lobo, gave a fantastic demonstration of this cooperation.

Student Quotes:
Mike Heise - "It was neat when Lobo found the powder Corporal DeBacco hid."

Bryan Divido - "I thought they did an awesome performance."
Rebecca Howard - "I think it is cool that they talk to the dogs in a different language."
Jordan Kernohan - "The dogs were amazing."
