2004 Reflections Contest Winners
The theme for the 2003-04 Reflections Contest was I am really happy when... Students interpreted the theme
in any way they felt appropriate. The purpose of the program was to encourage creativity,
so the students would explore their thoughts and feelings.
The theme was reflected in the student's work. Only new pieces of art inspired by this theme
were acceptable. Because the program was designed to encourage and recognize
each student's creativity, help from an adult or collaboration with other students was not allowed.
The winners for each category are listed below.

Photography - Students in this category entered a singular photographic print taken with an instamatic, automatic, or
panoramic camera. Photos could be in color or black and white.
Visual Arts - Students in this category entered a creation of visual art work in the form of prints, drawings,
paintings, collages, metal etchings, and/or fiber work.
Literature - Students in this category entered a written work of fiction or nonfiction in the form of prose, poetry,
or drama.

The PTA would like to thank everyone who participated in this year's Reflection Contest.
It was an exciting and rewarding
opportunity for students to express themselves through the arts.
