7th and 8th Grade Language Arts
Language Arts class helps students learn how
to think critically about what they read, incorporate important
grammar and vocabulary skills, and organize their thoughts to
become effective and successful writers. Our reading text
is THE LANGUAGE OF LITERATURE and contains brilliant
stories. Beside their reading books, students will work
from the InterActive Reader, complete many writing projects and
will be required to read various novels The
Perry middle school team will work together to benefit the
student, as he/she will have a core of teachers who besides
teaching the curriculum will also use the strategy for connecting
these adolescents in a developmentally congenial manner.
