Perry Elementary School Learn and Serve Monthly Activities
September:
Learn And Serve September Cleanup.
Our Seventh Grade Learn and Serve Students participated in a
schoolwide cleanup during the month of September. The students
planted tulips and mums around the front sign as well as the gym
enterance. The students also spread mulch and potting soil around
our school property.
All of our supplies; mulch, flowers, bulbs, and tools, were
supplied through a Recycling Grant that we received in 2006. We
will continue to update our school grounds seasonally to keep
Perry School Beautiful!

The Perry Learn and
Serve Team participate in The United Way Day of Caring.
Several schools participated in this event. Students from Wilson,
Diehl, JoAnna Connell and Perry combined their efforts to
complete a major face lift of Polito Field. The students first
cleaned up all garbage and debris from the field as well as the
surrounding school area. They also were able to re-seed the
soccer field, plant flowers and paint the bleachers. Students
worked hard, and the field looks great.
