Hearing screenings have already been done for students in grades K to 3 and grade 7,
referral notices were sent home for any student that failed the screening.
If you received a referral and have questions, please contact Mrs. Shrefler at your convenience.

As always, height, weight and vision screenings are done for all students through out the school year.
As each homeroom is completed, parents will receive a notice listing the results. The notice speaks specifically of
Body Mass Index and should help parents interpret the numbers.

School Physical Exams will be scheduled in December and January for those students in Grades K and 6 who
have not submitted a private exam. School Dental exams will be scheduled after the first of the year.

We will once again be offering the services of the Mobile Dentist. Flyers will be coming home about
this program soon. Shine Your Smile Day received good reviews last year, we are hoping for another good response
from our families. This service will count for the required school dental exam.
