I received my Bachelor's of Science in Health and Physical Education from Edinboro University.  This combined transfer credits from my other two favorite college experiences of Kent State University in Kent, Ohio and Humboldt State University in Arcata, California.

I have included both of these experiences because my liberal arts education at Kent and my outdoor recreational education experience at Humboldt have really influenced my teaching knowledge and style.

As well, I worked one year at the Montessori Children's House of Erie as their p.e. instructor and after school activities coach before joining the Erie Public Schools.

All of this along with the current trends in health, wellness and fitness make our gym environment a truly rich place full of options and excitment in many ways for the many children we service.

Any day your student may be fitness testing to assess their own individual fitness measurements, playing a team sport, playing a cooperative game, learning a lifetime sport such as tennis or golf, or learning sportsmanship or cooperation.  Every aspect of health is important!
