Perry Elementary hosts 2nd annual Animal Open House
On November 3rd Perry’s 4th grade Science students had an Animal Open House. The students have been working hard on the Animal Studies Module and they wanted to share their habitats and notebooks with their parents. The students made three different habitats. They were for a Dwarf African Frog, a Fiddler Crab, and millipedes. They have also have been making observations and scientific drawings of their animals. The students learned that all animals have basic needs and that even included themselves! It was exciting to see the students share out their knowledge with their parents. It was a rewarding experience for all those that came and hopefully it will become an annually Perry event.
