• Kindergarten Social Studies

Kindergarten Social Studies curriculum and content is driven by the Pennsylvania State Academic Standards in Economics, Geography, History, Civics and Government. The primary level of the standards describes what students in Pre-K through Grade 3 should know and be able to do. At the Kindergarten level, students will embark upon a journey starting internally and spiraling out to their neighborhoods, communities, city, state and nation. Examples of what students should know and be able to do are chronological sequence, identify people in authority and demonstrate an understanding of conflict.
