• Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope all is well. I am writing to hopefully offer some resources for you all to use in order to continue your child’s progress and to hopefully reduce some of your stress. I have included several activities and websites to do in addition to the work that can be found on their regular education teachers’ school webpages. If you have internet access and an electronic device, please access the grade level teachers’ webpages via www.eriesd.org.

At this very unique time, I urge you to take advantage of the time you have with your child. Some of the activities that I suggest are: have your child read to you, write/journal, work with math facts, plan a budget, practice handwriting, practice cursive writing, read the comic section of the newspaper, write poetry/song and share with family, make up games, card games, facetime with family and friends, go for a walk, explore your yard, count money, sort items in the house, watch documentaries together, family tree, and learn new life skill chores (wash clothes, prepare simple meals, table etiquette, clean, plant a garden and budget.

Please be sure the office has an updated phone number on file. If you need to update any contact information you can call the school office at 814-283-4595. Please don’t hesitate to send me a message if you have any questions or concerns. I miss your children tremendously. Please send my love and hugs to them😘

    Sincerely,
