    Well Hello,

This week we will be watching more videos from Kahn Academy. I know, I too am excited.

Your task for this week is to watch the Khan academy video on Confidence intervals for proportions. Follow the link and watch the videos for that section. https://www.khanacademy.org/math/ap-statistics/estimating-confidence-ap

I think you should also take the quiz.

I am going to be enrolling you into the Khan Academy AP Statistics class, so that I have something to grade you on, which will be whether or not you watch the videos. The invitation to join the class will be coming you your school email address, so you will have to check it. I would like to use the next week as a test of the system to be sure it is working, so make sure you sign up. I should be getting this out to you on Monday.

All assignments, according to the District’s policy are enrichment, which means you can not be held accountable for them.  With that in mind, you are still probably going to have to take Statistics in college, so I recommend you do this. Also, if you signed up for the AP test, it is still going to happen one way or another. There is no way the College Board is going to refund the money for AP tests. Ss if you are going to take the AP test, you really need to keep up with this. I will be posting links to the College Board’s AP Stats stuff so you can see what they have to offer as well.

The AP test will cover through chapters 25 in the text. The is the material that I will be recording here as we move forward.

The link below is to Khan Academy's section on Hypothesis testing or Significance tests. Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to watch the first section of videos of "The idea of significance tests". I would also do the check at the end of the section as well.
