• Online resources now available due to district closure

    As school districts across the country face closure, many companies are offering free access to their online learning products. Most of the sites below permit access through at least APRIL 30th. Students and teachers may access sites by clicking on the logos or visiting the Destiny Library Homepage for their individual school.

    BrainPOP content includes movies, quizzes, games, mobile apps, activity pages, and much more. Also covers hundreds of topics within Math, Science, Social Studies, English, Technology, Arts & Music, and Health.

    TeenBookCloud is an online database of eBooks and educator resources perfect for middle and high schoolers (grades 7-12). The collection offers a selection of Graphic Novels, Enhanced Novels, eBooks, classic literature, National Geographic videos, educator resources, and audiobooks.

    Amazon

     

    Audible

    Amazon and Audible now offer free programming and audio books.

    Amazon has opened free streaming access to over 40 children's shows. All that is needed is a free Amazon account. Titles include Pete the Cat, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, Odd Squad, Wild Kratts, Arthur, Nature Cat, and The Dangerous Book for Boys.

    Audible now allows free access to "an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, that will help continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids." Simply click on the "Start Listening" button to see the many books available.
