The Perry 100 years' celebration got started with a Kickoff Assembly on May 17, 2013. The Perry chorus started the assembly off with a bang with several songs honoring America. All of the fun activities for the following week were explained to the students, like the cereal drive and the 100 compass grade level competition. Mrs. Bull followed with a super PowerPoint presentation that included pictures from 100 years ago in Erie to pictures from this year. At the end of the presentation, the Party Rock Anthem started, bringing up several teachers and Navigators to do a Flash Mob Dance. The kids loved it and even had a chance to learn it before heading back to class. The whole school will be dancing the Perry Shuffle on the playground Friday, May 24th.
