Welcome to 2nd Grade at McKinley Elementary! 

My name is Mrs. Dempsey and  I am thrilled that I have the opportunity to teach your child this year!   This is my 8th year teaching.  I have taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, and reading intervention grades K-5.  I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio.  I went to Mercyhurst University for college and grad school, and ended up staying in Erie to teach!  I also have my PA Principal Certification K-12 from Gannon University.  I enjoy spending time with my husband, Bryce, walking our dogs, Avery and Amari, and watching football!
