Gov. Tom Wolf announced today that all schools statewide, including Erie's Public Schools, will remain closed for AT LEAST another two weeks. Schools will remain closed at least through April 6. It is unknown when our district will reopen and in-person classroom instruction will resume.

We will resume distribution of grade-specific paper packets this week. Packets with instruction for the week of 3/23 will be available beginning this Thursday, March 26, at all district schools during meal distribution times, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Packets with instruction for the week of 3/30 will be available beginning Monday, March 30, at all schools during meal distribution times. All work is supplemental and will not be graded. We are working to reschedule technology distribution.

Please stay connected to all district communication channels for updated information as it becomes available.

During these uncertain times, please refer to your student's homeroom teacher pages for directions on how to access AMPLIFY (reading) and  iReady Math.

Both are the curriculum we use in our building for grade 3. Your child should have received log in information from their homeroom teacher on Friday March 13, 2020. If you do not have the log in information , please contact the homeroom teacher through email.

Please continue to follow the McKinley Home site and the Facebook page for up to date information.

Free Lunch and Breakfasts are provided daily at any Erie City School, nearest  to you. I believe the hours are 11-1.

If you have no access to the internet, just do the best you can,we are all in this together . I have added some enrichment activities that might be helpful!

I will continue to reach out to you by phone or email to check in with your IEP student. If you have questions please email me.
