Creative Portion--emulate the poem by creating your own poem about yourself or someone else. Use personification of objects in your room/house to describe you. For example: She was a star athlete says the shelf full of trophies in her room.
OR
Write a narrative in which you fill in the blanks of what happened to the characters in the original poem. The poem does not give information about what actually occured at the house and why nobody lives there anymore. Create a story about the people who actually lived in that farmhouse.
