      • May 5-9: Teacher Appreciation Week
      • May 5-16: Waldameer Raffle Sales - All students will be sent home with 10 raffle tickets to sell for $1 each. This is an optional fundraiser benefiting the PTO. If you do not want to sell your tickets, turn them back in to the office. Otherwise, turn in completed ticket stubs and $10 to the main office or your child's teacher. To request additional tickets to sell, contact Ms. Potter. (spotter@eriesd.org or 814-440-9734)

      • May 30: May Attendance Challenge Winners Announced! *ll Day, Every Day in MAY! Students who are at school all day, every day, in May, are entered to win a summer prize bag!*
      • June 2: Field Day for Pre-K through 2nd Grade from 11:15-1:45
      • June 3: Field Day for 3rd-5th Grade from 8:30-11:00
      • June 4: 4th Quarter Harding Hero Assembly
      • June 5: 4th Quarter Perfect Attendance Breakfast
      • June 6: Last day (in person) for students. 
      • June 9 and 10: Flexible instruction days for students. June 10 is the last day of school. Students will not report to school in person. Details to follow.

      • All other family members and visitors must enter the building from the Lincoln St. East lobby doors.

      Harding School is located at 820 Lincoln Avenue in the Northwest perimeter of the City of Erie, Pennsylvania. The school houses over 650 students and over 70 staff members.
       
       
       
      Vision Statement 
       
      Harding School will prioritize high levels of engagement and personalized pathways to educational excellence for every student, without exception. We will continue to maximize instructional time and analyze data regularly to make informed decisions regarding student instruction and staff professional development. Targeted interventions will focus on increasing ELA and Math proficiency rates and completion of Career Readiness artifacts to ensure students are prepared for their next pathway. Equitable access to instruction will be a priority for all students. In addition, a focus on attendance recognition will motivate students to attend school daily and interventions will decrease chronic absenteeism. As a Community School we strive to create a school environment that is safe, secure, supportive, and welcoming to all students, families, and staff. We instill in our students the values of diversity, inclusion, and kindness. Students feel valued at our school and believe in themselves and their peers. Our SWPBIS program is intertwined with our academics, and all Harding students are expected to be respectful, responsible, safe, and focused.
