Throughout the year, a number of school events, programs, and classroom lessons take place that are of interest to both school district media (cable channel, website, school newsletters, etc.) and regional print and broadcast media (newspapers, television, radio, etc.) During these activities, students and staff may be photographed or interviewed to increase public awareness of our school and/or individual student accomplishments. If you DO NOT want your children to be photographed, videotaped or interviewed, please complete and return the 2026-2027 Media Opt-Out Form available at your child’s school.

We are excited about this years Black History Month Program that will take place this Friday, February 27th at 12:45pm. Please come out and see the spectacular gallery of artwork from our 2nd and 3rd grade scholars, followed by a wonderful performance by our K-1, and 6-8th grade scholars.
The efforts and contributions of many African American educators and community leaders have helped Erie's Public Schools to become the district it is today. Thank you to all of the amazing individuals who help us continue #buildingexcellencetogether! We are especially grateful for our superintendent, Dr. Natalyn Gibbs, who is dedicated to bringing the community together and supporting our students and their families.

As the holidays approach and the weather is cold, remember to stay safe, EPS! ❄️ From staying warm to traveling safely, here are a few simple precautions to remember to help make sure the holidays are happy and healthy.
This week is Safe Stop Week! You may see police vehicles following a school bus; they are ensuring the community is practicing safe driving around school buses.
Please remember to stop when buses have flashing red lights and stop arms extended. Also, slow down when near buses to watch for children.
