To further their learning Mrs. Katie, the owner of World of Music came in to show them different types of musical instruments. She even gave them their very own shaker! We would like to intrduce our new apprentice assistant principal, Joanna Polakowski!
Joanna writes, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining JoAnna Connell as your new Apprentice Assistant Principal! This marks my 16th year with Erie’s Public Schools, and I couldn’t be more excited for this new adventure. 💛
Over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching grades K–5 in a variety of roles, most recently spending time with an amazing group of fourth graders at Perry. Each experience has shaped my love for learning, leadership, and supporting students as they grow.
I can’t wait to partner with our incredible students, dedicated staff, and supportive families to help make Connell the very best it can be. It’s going to be a wonderful rest of the year, and I’m so happy to be on this journey together! ✨”
