Congratulations to senior Markella Nacopoulos, who has been named one of approximately 5000 candidates nationwide in the 2026 United States Presidential Scholars Program. Markella was selected from nearly 3.6 million students, and only 0.18% of all seniors in the country achieve this honor.
Inclusion in the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program is one of the highest honors bestowed upon graduating high school seniors. Application is by invitation only based on superior academic achievements, leadership qualities, strong character and involvement in community and school activities.
Markella one of only 170 candidates in Pennsylvania, which comprises over 500 school districts, and the only candidate in Erie's Public Schools and from the surrounding districts in Erie County. Collegiate Academy is honored to have Markella named in the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program.
