Happy Autism Awareness Day! AWARENESS is the first step in ACCEPTANCE and what spurs ACTION. We can't wait to begin celebrating this month as a school family! ❤️🧡💙🩷💚💜💛to all of our teachers, aides and staff; students, and families for sharing your knowledge with us and helping us grow!

Mrs. Stellwagon's Kindergarten class was spreading Spring kindness on Friday before break. Along with some help from their 5th grade buddies, they delivered positive notes and compliments to teachers and even shared some sweet treats! Thank you for brightening our day!

Our second grade scientists were at it again last week! This time they used their new engineering skills to design and build peeps houses which they then delivered to their Kindergarten buddies! What a way to spread Spring sweetness and learn science at the same time! 🩷🩵💜🐰🐥

When we return from Spring Break PB will begin celebrating Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month! We would love for you to join Team Pfeiffer Burleigh for the Autism Society NWPA Walk for Autism! Please use this link to register.

No school tomorrow! Enjoy your break, Panthers! See you back on Tuesday morning, April 7💙🖤

3rd Grade began this year's journey on their Erie Arts and Culture Educational Passport program last week with a visit from Robert Lewis Storyteller , a uniquely entertaining Cherokee storyteller! Mr. Lewis uses a highly interactive and entertaining style to pass down some of his culture's stories sprinkled with a few life lessons. Next up for them is a workshop at school with the Hagen History Museum and then a field trip to the museum.

Congratulations to Pfeiffer Burleigh's first ever Challenge 24 Team who competed in the United Way of Erie County Community School Challenge 24 tournament last night. They showed courage and grit while facing teams from 8 other schools! Congratulations to Team Diehl who took the top 3 spots! Special shout out to PB's Ziyal who placed 4th overall and to our amazing coach, Mrs. Baldi!

Wear jerseys or PB spirit wear tomorrow to show support for our March Madness finalists! Champions will be named and prizes will be awarded TOMORROW! Winners of the family surveys gift cards will also be announced! Don't let your team down-they need you here to win!

Our music teacher, Ms. Robb, had the honor of meeting Marie Burleigh, the great granddaughter of Harry T. Burleigh (our school's namesake) last night! Ms. Robb works hard all year long to keep the memory and music of Harry Burleigh alive at our school! Check out the flyer for local events this week presented by the Burleigh Legacy Alliance.

Our Kindergarten classes have been studying life in colonial times. For a knowledge learning experience, Mrs. Grapes and Ms. Mustafa's classes made butter today! 🧈🐮
