Today was a full-circle moment at Edison for Mrs. Ulrich’s class! On Sept 12, 2024 students began watching the magic of a new building unfold and today, they got to see it from the inside! 💙💛💙💛

Yesterday was our Family Ice Skating day! Our families and students had a blast, and were even joined by a few Edison teachers!

We are so grateful for our Hooked on Books partnership, especially Ms. Peck. She took the time to come plant with Ms. Rodgers’ third grade class. It was the perfect connection to their CKLA and Science units where they are learning all about growing plants and crops. 🌱📚

Today was Day 4 of our Read Across America Spirit Week! Students showed their spirit by wearing stripes or their favorite hats. It was so fun seeing everyone’s creativity and school spirit! 🎩📚
Tomorrow is our final day! Students may come to school in their pajamas as we wrap up a great week celebrating reading. We can’t wait to see everyone cozy and ready to read! 📖✨

Over the past few weeks, classroom teachers had the option for our Mental Health Specialist, Ms. Devon, to join their class to read "The Invisible Boy" or "The Rabbit Listened". Students then created shoes which they decorated and wrote ways they can show empathy on them.
