A reminder that there is no school on Monday, January 19th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Ms. Ronto's 2nd Graders & Mr. Ross’ 4th Graders kicked off the kindness challenge together! The students made cards to encourage and thank each other for being such good "anchor mates" (that's what we call our classroom buddies😊⚓).
We see kindness in our building everyday, but we're ready to level up during our kindness challenge! Get ready... 💓

💙 Kindness in Action at McKinley! 💙
During the month of December, McKinley students participated in our Anti-Bullying Campaign by creating a schoolwide Kindness Chain, now proudly displayed in the lobby. Each link represents an act of kindness a student completed, reminding us that small actions can make a big difference. Together, we are building a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusion—one act of kindness at a time.

Last night we had over 100 people participate in our very first McKinley Math Mania Family Game Night! Families went through the building participating in different math games with our teachers, practicing and learning a variety of skills. Each family also got to take home a good bag filled with math games to practice and play together at home!
Our favorite part of the event was seeing all of our families interacting and playing together! Thanks for coming to play!

This week is Safe Stop Week! You may see police vehicles following a school bus; they are ensuring the community is practicing safe driving around school buses.
Please remember to stop when buses have flashing red lights and stop arms extended. Also, slow down when near buses to watch for children.
