Wilson's last School-Wide PBIS event of the year is here... It's time for Carnival! This event will take place during the school day just like our previous quarterly events. Students can "purchase" a ticket with their PBIS points this week if they would like to attend. Their ticket includes access to lawn games, face paint, an inflatable obstacle course, and more.
Students may also purchase tickets to dunk their favorite teacher or buy additional snacks. These items can be purchased with PBIS points or cash at the event. Please email efoessett@eriesd.org with any questions!

Congratulations to our boys and girls soccer teams and their coaches on a great season!
The girls soccer team played SV on Tuesday in the middle school championship game. They fought hard in a competitive match but came up short 2-1. The team should be commended for a great season and for the tremendous growth, teamwork, and talent they demonstrated throughout the year.
The boys soccer team also faced SV in the championship game and earned a 5-0 victory to win the middle school championship. Pictured is the team with the championship trophy they worked so hard to earn.
Congratulations to all players and coaches on a successful season!

Please join us in wishing Mrs. Wright, Mr. Munson, Ms. Tonelli, and Mr. Brinson a HAPPY PRINCIPAL APPRECIATION DAY!!!
These four amazing people show up every day with unmatched dedication and heart for our students, staff, and families. Their jobs are far from easy but Wilson is a better place because of them!
From the entire Wilson family: THANK YOU for all you do!

Calling all future Presidents! We cannot wait to meet our incoming 6th grade class during move up week! Please note that these visits will take place during the school day. If you or your student have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

This week we celebrated Administrative Professionals Day and it just so happens that Wilson has some of the very best in the district! Please join us in thanking Ms. Dunn, Mr. Danny, and Ms. Graham for all they do. Wilson's front office is a welcoming place (often full of laughter) because of you! We cannot thank you enough!

Please join us in congratulating Ibrahim Abo Aless, Ahmad Al Khawaldeh, and Metaeus Mooney-Hughes! Last night, each of these young men received Bravo Awards at the EPS Board Meeting for going above and beyond!
Staying after class to help teachers, genuine kindness, responsibility, effort, leadership… just a few of the qualities listed in their nominations. Thank you for role modeling what it means to be a Wilson President! 👏 We are so proud of each one of you!

Attention 7/8 grade girls!!

State testing for 6, 7, and 8 grade from April 20 - May 1.

Attention 6th grade boys soccer!!!
A message from coach Nick!
Practices are now mandatory.
Practice schedule is as follows for this week (in case you missed practices last week):
Today (April 6th) - 4:30-6 outside (wear warm clothes)
Tuesday (April 7th) - TBD
Wednesday (April 8th) - TBD
Thursday (April 9th) - 4:30-6 outside
Friday (April 10th) - 4:30-6 outside
Please try to attain soccer cleats. They don't have to be expensive styles. You're going to grow out of them in no time. Check around at the thrift stores (Goodwill, Salvation Army family store, Erie City Mission family store, Amvets, Cobb's, etc...) some of the best cleats I ever owned were $300 cleats I got for $10 at a thrift store.
Also, required packing list for practices from here on out:
-Water bottle,
-Cleats (shoes until you can get cleats, must have them before the first game - bring BOTH)
-EXTRA Clothes - hats, gloves, jackets, coats, long sleeves, pants, etc... plan for all types of weather. -
*** We play in all types of weather (except for thunderstorms and severe cold)
----- yes that means we play in the rain and snow as well!
- A plastic garbage bag to put your regular bag into so your belongings don't get wet.
Please start securing your rides and have them be on time (carpool / ride with teammates if necessary)
Thanks & Go Royals!!!

7th and 8th-grade girls' soccer conditioning.

Today we had our first Wilson Pride Band celebration! As you know, our PBIS team recognizes students who are respectful, responsible, and ready to learn. However, today we’re celebrating the Presidents who take leadership to a whole new level! Each of these students were recognized by staff for going above in beyond with grades, effort, or positive attitude. Please join us in celebrating them! 👏

Today our students and mentors from Susan Hirt Hagen CORE wrapped up a year of learning and leadership with a service project at Nightingale Nursing & Rehab Center! They worked together to paint a cabinet that will house enrichment items for the memory care unit.
Way to make us proud, Presidents! And thank you to these awesome partners for creating such meaningful opportunities for our kids. 💙
