• Hello, my name is Richard Boesch I am in my 17th year in education.  I was born in Erie PA and have lived here most of my life.  I grew up on the upper east side of Erie.  I attended Saint Luke's grade School, Kanty Prep High School until it's closing in 1980 and then graduated from Cathedral Prep in 1981.  I then attended Mercyhurst College (University) and majored in Biology and Sports Medicine Athletic Training.  I graduated in 1986 with a BS in Biology and and a BS in Sports Medicine Athletic Training.  I Played football all the way through college playing on Mercyhurst's first ever football team.

    I then went on to aquire my Masters Degree at Old Dominion University.  I graduated from ODU in 1987 with a MS of education concentrating in Athletic training.  I landed my first job as an athletic trainer in NJ and worked there for two years.  I then got a new job in Erie working for Hamot Sports medicine.  I worked for Hamot Sports Medicine as an athletic trainer until 2000.  

    I changed careers and became certified to teach Secondary Education Biology and started working for the Erie School District in 2001.  I have worked at Wayne Middle School, Jefferson Elementrary school, Strong Vincent High School and currently here at Strong Vincent Middle School.

    I currently live in Girard Township.  I am happily married to my wife of 26 years Jo Marie Boesch.  We have two wonderful Children Austin 25 and Spencer 20.
