Welcome parents and students! 

Here is a little background about the position of School Wide Specialist (SWS) at East Middle School.  One of the primary responsibilities of an SWS is to help design schoolwide services and strategies to address the needs of students in Reading and Mathematics. However, we provide support to all content, ELL, and Special Education teachers through specialized professional development, curriculum support, student testing, data analysis and review, and even non-academics skills, such as social - emotional to name a few tasks an SWS does at EMS!
