•    Thank you for visiting.  My name is Mrs. Kelley Groner.  I am the art teacher at Lincoln Elementary.  My goal as an art educator is to create an art program, based on the PA Art Standards, that allows children to learn through self-expression, hands-on activities, creative thinking and problem-solving.  The skills the children learn in art will not only build a foundation for future art endeavors, but will also build their self-confidence, enhance their appreciation of other's ideas and talents, teach them to be bold and take risks in their work, and develop their sense of belonging and community.
My love of art began as a child.  Art was the class I looked forward to every week.  I attended Millersville University in Lancaster Pennsylvania and received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2001.  For several years after college, I pursued my art career as the ceramic technician at Edinboro University.  This was an opportunity that allowed me to develop as an artist.  I started my full time teaching career in 2008 with the Erie School District.  In 2010, I received my Master's degree as a reading specialists from Edinboro University.

In addition to teaching and art, I am a wife and mother of three, two sons and a daughter. I love spending time outdoors, playing with my kids, reading, and creating art.
