Seventh-grade students from multiple local schools recently demonstrated creativity and problem-solving skills through their participation in the Ice House Program, an initiative focused on entrepreneurial learning.
Participants from East Middle School, Eagle’s Nest School of Academic Distinction, Strong Vincent Middle School, and Woodrow Wilson Middle School collaborated to examine real-world issues and design practical, innovative solutions. The program challenged students to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset while strengthening teamwork and critical thinking abilities.
As part of the event, several students presented their ideas to a large audience, showcasing both confidence and communication skills. In addition, attendees had the opportunity to circulate throughout the space, view student displays, and engage directly with participants about their projects.
The event was supported by educators, families, and community members, whose contributions helped make the experience possible.
