    My name is Amy Chiapa and I am the School Counselor at Jefferson. I hold a Master's degree in School Counseling. Additionally, I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Previous to being a counselor, I taught elementary school for 8 years in Erie's Public Schools.
     
    I provide a variety of services to children based on referrals from parents/guardians, teachers, and other school staff.  The services provided are aligned with the American School Counselor Association's model and include support in the following domains: academic planning, career development, and social/emotional wellbeing.
