Hello Parents and families Welcome to the 2018-2019 School year at Jefferson Elementary School.
Please make sure you check your child's homework folder daily for homework and any important papers from me or the school office that may need to be completed and returned the next school day. I check folders each morning for homework and papers/notes from parents/families.  If you would like to send me a note regarding a different pick up person or any other concerns the homework folder is a great place to put the note.

Homework will be assigned Monday-Thursday with our assessment of the week's spelling/vocabulary words on Friday of each week.
Your child will also have a math sheet to complete Monday-Thursday to reinforce the concepts we are learning in math for that week.

There will not be a snack calendar coming home this year I am asking for students to bring in a monthly donation. We have students that are allergic to peanuts so please choose your snack carefully. If you would like to send in a snack on your child's birthday you may we currently have 18 students in our classroom. Please only store bought snacks for your child's birthday please be sure to supply napkins, plates and if you bring in drinks please send in cups as these are not supplied at the school.
