    • Week of April 26 - All students who attend in-person attend Monday-Friday each week.
    • May 3-7 - PSSA Testing 3rd-5th Grade
    • May 8 - Spring Planting and Clean Up Day from 9:00-11:00 AM
    • May 10-11 PSSA Science Testing 4th Grade



    • Who: Students in 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade
    • When: May 3rd-7th from 9:00-11:30 AM. 4th Grade students will also take the Science PSSA Test on May 10th and 11th from 9:00-11:30 AM
    • Other Important Information: Testing will take place in the morning, so please make sure your student is here every day at the 8:00 AM arrival time. Make up testing will take place in the afternoon. If your child has an appointment, please try to reschedule.
    • Remote Learners: Students enrolled in virtual learning will be scheduled at a later date.
    • Tips: Get a good night's sleep, come to school on time each day and do your best!


    Saturday May 8th from 9:00-11:00 AM - All Are Welcome! Join us as we plant new trees on our property with ReLeaf Erie and clean up around our school. Please let us know you are coming by registering online at bit.ly/hardingplanting

    2020-21 School Year Updates:


    Beginning Monday April 26th, all students who were previously in the "purple" group or "gold" group will now attend Monday through Friday every week. Students enrolled in 100% remote (virtual) instruction, will continue online learning. 


    Our office staff is happy to assist you with any questions you may have.

    District meal distribution is available Tuesdays and Fridays from 3:00-6:00. Erie's Public Schools will distribute breakfast and lunch meals to any children under 18. Distribution will take place at the following locations:

    Metz Culinary Center, 255 E. 19th Street (starts at 1:30 pm)

    East Middle School, 1001 Atkins Street

    Patrick J. DiPaolo Student Success Center at Emerson Gridley, 816 N.Park Avenue

    Please note that Harding is no longer a meal distribution site. You can pick up meals for Harding students at any of the sites above.






    Please call the Harding Main Office to obtain your Parent Portal Activation Key. 

    This enables parents to login in to Infinite Campus where you will have

    access to class schedules, attendance and grades.

    Harding School is located at 820 Lincoln Avenue in the Northwest perimeter of the City of Erie, Pennsylvania. The school houses over 550 students and over 70 staff members.
    Mission Statement:
    Harding Elementary School seeks to create a challenging learning environment that encourages high expectations for success through development-appropriate instruction that allows for individual differences and learning styles. Our school promotes a safe, orderly, caring, and supportive environment where every student's self-esteem is fostered by positive relationships with students and staff.
