  • New Traffic Pattern for West 9th Street:  As of October 17th, through traffic will no longer be able to proceed through the roadway that is privately owned by Shriner's Hospital for Children.  This is beind done due to safety concerns on their campus.

Spring PSSA


Erie’s Public Schools will administer Spring PSSA Exams in English Language Arts, Math and Science starting Monday, April 3 and will run through Friday, May 5.

Welcome to Harding School

Attention Harding Families and Community Members:   The board and administration of Erie's Public Schools is now beginning the process of developing a budget for the 2017-18 school year that includes an initial plan for building reorganization.  Erie's Public Schools understands that this process will affect nearly all of our students, families and staff, and we are asking for the community's input to gather suggestions, comments, questions and concerns.  Please consider attending  one of the following community meetings:  
Monday, March 13th, 6 p.m. at the Booker T. Washington Center
Thursday, March 16th, 6 p.m. at Harding School
Wednesday, March 22nd, 6 p.m. at East High School
Wednesday, March 29th, 6 p.m. at the John F. Kennedy Center
Thursday, March 30th, 6 p.m. at the Martin Luther King/Bayfront NATO Center 

Harding School is located at 820 Lincoln Avenue in the Northwest perimeter of the City of Erie, Pennsylvania. The school houses over 600 students and over 50 staff members.

Harding Elementary School seeks to create a challenging learning environment that encourages high expectations for success through development-appropriate instruction that allows for individual differences and learning styles. Our school promotes a safe, orderly, caring, and supportive environment where every student's self-esteem is fostered by positive relationships with students and staff.
