🚌⚡Yesterday, we celebrated the launch of our brand-new electric school bus fleet! We now have 12 new electric buses and 12 charging stations.

Research shows that replacing just five diesel buses with electric buses can reduce the risk of pediatric asthma for approximately 1,500 students. We want to ensure that we provide a reliable, safe, sensory-aware, and healthy transportation experience for our students.

This milestone wouldn't have been possible without our incredible partner, Highland Electric Fleets. Together, we're transforming how our students get to school every single day.

We also want to give a HUGE thank you to the incredible staff members who poured their time, energy, and dedication into making this dream a reality. Your hard work behind the scenes made yesterday possible. 👏

This project was supported by a nearly $4.8 million award from the U.S. EPA's Clean School Bus Program — a testament to #BuildingExcellenceTogether.

💙Middle school students at EPS are diving into the life and legacy of Harriet Tubman!

A special thank you to the Jefferson Educational Society for providing such an engaging and interactive learning experience. Students had the opportunity to meet “Harriet Tubman,” ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of her remarkable story and impact on history. Meaningful partnerships like this bring classroom learning to life and give students the chance to connect with what they are studying. #BuildingExcellenceTogether
