Our Auto Body seniors completed their NOCTI testing last week, and we couldn’t be more proud of their passion and determination. Self-starters through and through, our students made time to study together, pushing each other every step of the way.

Erie High Marketing students showcased their creativity and business skills at their annual Trade Show last week.👑
Students developed full marketing plans for products of their choice complete with interactive games, promotional flyers, provided samples of their products and gave presentations for fellow students and staff!

Our Erie High Computer Programming students are bringing innovation to life by creating their very own app! 💻
To kick things off, we were excited to welcome students from Penn State Behrend, who shared their experiences working on codebases and developing a mental health app. Their insight showed our Royals what they can achieve with creativity and purpose.

In collaboration with the Minority Community Investment Coalition's Grow Erie Project, 14 Erie High Horticulture and Landscaping Career and Technical Education students had the opportunity to visit Integrated Agriculture Systems' (INTAG) state of the art aquaponics facility at Savocchio Opportunity Park.
Our Royals learned how aquaponic growing systems work and helped transfer and harvest basil. This is another great example of how United Way Community Schools help connect students to local careers and employers! 🌿

Our Erie High Student Council and Skills USA students are the recipients of the Second Harvest Food Bank of NW PA 35th Annual Bread Box Award for a monetary donation made possible by the Penny War Challenge along with their time packaging food at the warehouse. 👑

In partnership with the United Way of Erie County community school room,Second Harvest Food Bank of NW PA was back at Erie High for another delicious food tasting! This time, David introduced our students to tomato and fish stew.
With 42 students giving it a try, and one even comparing it to their grandma’s cooking, we’d say this recipe is a must try! Compliments to the chef! 💜
