Our Erie High Early Childhood Education CTE students are gaining valuable, hands-on experience through their practicum at a local daycare facility. We will be travelling here weekly to work in the Child Development Centers at Roosevelt!🧸
These future early childhood professionals are putting their classroom knowledge into practice as they work alongside experienced educators, interact with young children, assist with daily routines, and develop important skills in communication, teamwork, responsibility, and child development.
Experiences like these give our students the opportunity to explore the early childhood field, build confidence, and prepare for future careers while making a positive impact in their community.

Join Erie's Public Schools for a fun-filled community celebration of connection, fun, and empowerment of the young girls in our district on Sunday, October 11, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Biletnikoff Field!🎉
This event is part of our district’s Building Excellence Together Weekend, held in partnership with the Jefferson Educational Society's Global Summit XVIII. While our students are busy with service projects on Saturday and a select group attends a conversation with Michelle Obama on Monday, Sunday is all about bringing our families together!

Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Empowerment Walk begins at 3:15 PM)
Location: Biletnikoff Field (finishing at the EPS Admin Building, 1910 Sassafras St., via an accessible route)
Admission & Activities: 100% Free for all EPS families!

The girl's tennis team turned in a strong performance at the Buhl Tournament in Hermitage, PA, finishing 2nd overall in the tournament.
The team was led by outstanding individual performances from Eliza Borczon, who captured 1st place in first singles, and Ava Kerchansky, who earned 1st place in fourth singles. Congratulations to the entire team on a successful tournament and to Eliza Borczon and Ava Kerchansky on their individual championships! 💜

Over the weekend, our Erie High Royals participated in the Erie Out of the Darkness Walk at Presque Isle. By showing up to advocate, spread hope and stand with those impacted by suicide, our students demonstrated their commitment to making a difference in our community. 💙

The Erie High School Marching Band will return to competition on Saturday, September 19th during the McDowell Invitational on James Connor Field at McDowell High School (https://lmba.us/show-mcdowell). 💜💛
Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for students, free for under 5.

If you DO NOT want your children to be photographed, videotaped or interviewed, please complete and return the 2026-2027 Media Opt-Out Form available at your child’s school.
