    Welcome Message:
Welcome to 5th grade ELA and Social Studies in Room 105.  Mrs. Landis is the co-teacher in the room and specializes in ESL support.  We work hard in our room to foster a love of reading and writing.  Our students are immersed in rich literature through the CKLA Amplify Reading Program.  As we work through the units, the students learn important reading skills, grammar and morphology skills, as well as writing that is an extention to what they are reading in class.  Social Studies is centered around the United States Regions where we complete Regions projects throghout the school year.

    Hi students and families!

Hope you all are doing well and staying healthy!  I have included multiple websites in the Web Resources section of my webpage that you can simply click on to continue learning at home. The district  has updated a packet for each grade level to work on at home.  The links are on their homepage as well as in the Web Resource section.  If you do not have access to a printer, your child can write their answers on loose leaf paper and bring to school when we resume.  Please read for 20-30 minutes a day either in your 5th grade packet, in a book, or on EPIC.  Also, you can continue your work on Amplify Reading, I-Ready, and SmartFutures! For some fun, I'm going to include some awesome free website you can go on at home.  Feel free to contact me via email.  I will check it often.

    Sincerely,
    Mrs. Morris
