    Welcome to my webpage, everyone!

My name is Danielle Zimmer.  I'm a proud graduate of Erie's Public Schools. Go Falcons! (I mean...Royals!)  I have been a teacher in the district since 2006.  Throughout my time here, I have been a Life Skills Support Teacher, Emotional Support Teacher, Learning Support Teacher, and a General Education Teacher. No matter what type of teacher I am, my feelings about public education and kids are the same.  I am proud to be a public school teacher and a former public school student.  I also believe EVERY child can learn and achieve.

As a 5th grade teacher, I understand that our students are about to embark on the journey of young adulthood.  They are leaders in our elementary schools and need to develop the social and academic skills to help them flourish as students and adults in our community.  I hope that I am able to help them as they begin this journey!

Even though we are beginning the year remotely, I will do my best to instruct your children and get them ready to be independent, empowered learners!

Please check my webpage for updates.  I also use the Remind APP and check my e-mail frequently if you have any questions or concerns.  Please email me for the class code for the 2020-2021 School Year.
