Hello everyone! While you are at home some things you can to do to keep routine include deep breathing, stretching, yoga, making up a new dance or song, writing letters, keeping a journal, playing board games and card games, painting, drawing, virtual tours on the web, and school enrichment activities located on the web page tab. All teachers have a variety of sites students can visit just click on different teachers' pages!
Students can continue on-line education on the I Ready Math website and CKLA Reading website. Other sites to go to for reading comprehension include Readworks, NewsELA, and Khan Academy. Students were given their password and Log in cards on Friday March 13th. Please contact me by phone or email if you do not have them!
School will potentially reopen for students April 14th after spring break according to Governor Wolf. Schools are open for students under the age of 18 for meals from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. They will be closed on Tuesday and Thursday starting Monday March 30th. You will be able to pick up meals for the following day(s) as well. You can also pick up assignment packets for students at the schools as well. Second Harvest Food Bank will be packing and distributing Emergency Relief Food Boxes that contain enough food for 20 meals. If anyone you know is in need of food assistance they should call 814-459-3663 x117.
