This past week, our Erie High Red Cross Club headed to Presque Isle for a beach cleanup to help keep our beautiful state park clean everyone. Students worked hard then enjoyed some well-earned picnic and fun in the sun together.

It has been almost a week, and we are STILL talking about the David Powertalk assembly!
Last Thursday, our United Way Community School Directors welcomed David “Powertalk” Solomon and his amazing team to Erie High for two powerful assemblies and a leadership lunch with our students. David and his team (Brandon & Simms) poured into our students with incredible energy and meaningful lessons, leaving us all inspired!
A great time was had and of course, we had to send them off in true Erie fashion with a box of Mighty Fine donuts 🍩💜💛

Royals Mean Business 💜
Last week our Erie High Marketing students participated in Business Day at Gannon University & left with a win! Their teamwork and knowledge earned them first place in
the trivia competition! 👑

Yesterday, we proudly celebrated Erie High Royals Girls Softball Coach, Ron Niebauer, at the Erie High vs. Titusville game for an incredible 50 years of dedication to Erie’s Public Schools! 🎉
Coach Niebauer began coaching at Strong Vincent and now also coaches the Erie High School girls' softball team. In 50 years, he has built a lasting legacy defined not only by success on the field but also by his unwavering mentorship, leadership, and commitment to the students in our district. His impact reaches far beyond the game.
His accomplishments include 12 softball championships across Metro, District, and Regional levels, along with numerous honors:
• Master Coach, National Fastpitch Coaches Association (2013)
• Named One of the Top Coaches of the Century by the Erie Times-News
• Strong Vincent Distinguished Service Award (2012)
• Strong Vincent Service Award (2000)
• Outstanding Booster Award – Strong Vincent Booster Club

In honor of Earth Day, our United Way of Erie County Erie High community school directors teamed up with SkillsUSA for a park clean-up! Over 32 students volunteered Friday morning at Burton and Bayview Parks, working together to pick up trash around the area!
Not only are they helping protect our planet, but they’re also giving back to the community by making sure our parks are clean, welcoming & ready for summer. 🌎✨

Senior Shout Out
Our Auto Body seniors completed their NOCTI testing last week, and we couldn’t be more proud of their passion and determination. Self-starters through and through, our students made time to study together, pushing each other every step of the way.
Their hard work paid off! All of our seniors scored at the advanced level & surpassed the national average! 💜
