    NO CLASS MONDAY!!!

     

    On Tuesday, April 14 @ 8:00 AM on Google Classroom I will attempt to post my first assignment. It will be an introduction lesson, a practice lesson. All I’m asking you to do is to click on the assignment, say hello to me, and let me know if you can click on the link and see our social studies book. Then try to submit to me. I do explain these same instructions in the Google classroom lesson.

    If you have not signed up to Google Classroom yet please do so AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!! If you are not sure what to do please send email me and I will do my best to help out. Starting next Monday, April 20 as told by the Administration of the Erie School District ALL WORK will only be assigned and to be completed on Google Classroom. PLEASE SIGN UP NOW!!!

     

    For the remainder of the year if you do email me please use your school district email. This is the one with your 6 digit code and eriesd.org  The same email that you use in Google Classroom.

    • You should now see Chapter 11, Ancient Greece, page 350.
    • Now go to page 384.

     

    • Activity #1
      • Daily Life, extended lesson 4, life in the Agora.
      • Read pages 384-385.
      • Read and study titles A, B, C, D, and E as well and the drawings that go along with the reading.
      • Answers questions #1 and 2 on page 385.

     

    • Activity #2
      • Page 386, main ideas, Sparta and Athens, #17 and 18. Answers can be found on pages 378-385, Lesson 4.

     

    • Activity #3
      • Go back to the main textbook page.
      • Hold the arrow over Units at the top.
      • Then scroll down to ancient Greece.
      • Then go to the right and click on Greek Mythology.
        • Look at the chart of Greek Gods and Goddesses.
        • Read the paragraphs below.
        • Next watch the video Ancient Secrets.
        • Answer the three “ask yourself” questions below the video.
        • When finished with the questions read the three “research questions” and answers below. You are not answering these questions just reading what answers have been given for in site and knowledge.

     

    • Have an adult/parent look over your work and study your results with an adult/parent for 10-15 minutes this week.

    • You should now see a picture of our social studies book. Scroll down and click on Ancient Greece.
    • You should now see Chapter 11, Ancient Greece, page 350.
    • Now scroll to page 378.
    • You are now on Chapter 11, lesson 4
      • Read pages 378-383
      • Answer the BIG RED/BLUE NUMBER questions in the reading. These would be the questions that we do on our outlines.
      • Write out the vocabulary words and definitions from the lesson. These words can be found at the top of 379 and the words are highlighted in the lesson.
      • Answer the lesson review question, Main Idea #3, 4, 5 on page 383.
      • Have an adult/parent look over your work and study your results with an adult/parent for 10-15 minutes this week.
      • Email your completed assignments to me at my email address.
