• Safe and Supportive Learning Environment

     Dear Parents/Guardians,

As we begin another new and exciting school year at Harding School, we would like to remind you of some procedural items that help to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.

    • Dress code will be strictly enforced.  Please be aware of the approved colors and especially pant styles (no yoga, stretch, or any replicas therein) that are permitted according to school board policy.

    • Parents are not permitted past the lobby area without a pass from the main office.  Passes are for those adults that have a pre-arranged meeting with a staff member.

    • Cell phones are to be kept in your child’s book bag (elementary) or lockers (7th and 8th grade) during school hours.  If you must contact your child, please call the main office.

    • Please be aware that the following reasons are not legal and will not count as excused absences:  personal business, oversleeping, missing the bus, car problems, hunting, out of town, or family emergency.  A vacation form must be filled out prior to a trip and can be attained from the office.

Once again we encourage you as a parent/guardian to review these procedures with your child as they will be strictly enforced beginning the first day of school to ensure compliance.  We do not take safety lightly, and we look forward to working with you to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.  As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please call the main office at 874-6550.

          Sincerely,

          Mrs. Kathleen Farnham,  Principal

          Mr. Jeffrey Yonkers, Assistant Principal
