Winner of the Newbery Medal and the Scott O'Dell Award for Historical Fiction, this 341 page autobiography-meets-fiction masterpiece explores a New Deal town in Western Pennsylvania. We will follow 12-year-old Jack Gantos through his summer of growth and exploration.
