The school year 2019-20 will begin my twenty-third year of teaching, twenty-two of those years spent in fourth grade! I received my bachelor's and master's degrees from Gannon University. I have been married to my husband, Lance for 16 years. He works for Millcreek School District with autistic students. I have 1 daughter and 2 sons. My daughter, Mela, is 14 years old and is in ninth grade at Millcreek Intermediate High School. My oldest son, Jordan, is 11 years old and is in sixth grade at Walnut Creek Middle School. My youngest son, Grayson, is almost 4 years old and he will be starting his first year of preschool. We have a goldendoodle named Sophie. My two oldest children both play basketball and Jordan also plays football. Grayson hasn't really chosen a sport yet, he comes to gyms and football fields to cheer his big sister and brother on.
I enjoy baking cakes and cupcakes, as you can see from the photos below. I also love doing crafts and making different projects that I find on my favorite place, Pinterest. I have a serious addiction to it and am constantly on it looking for my next project. My family and I enjoy spending time together and we have family dinner every Sunday with my parents and sister. It is a tradition that I enjoyed when I was a child, and I am so glad that my own children get to enjoy it also!
