The school year 2020-2021 will begin my twenty-third year of teaching, twenty-two of those years spent in fourth grade! I received my bachelor's and master's degrees from Gannon University. I have been married to my husband, Lance for 17 years. He works for Millcreek School District with autistic students. He is also the girls' basketball coach at Erie High School. I have 1 daughter and 2 sons. My daughter, Mela, is 15 years old and is in tenth grade at Millcreek Intermediate High School. My oldest son, Jordan, is 12 years old and is in seventh grade at Walnut Creek Middle School. My youngest son, Grayson, is almost 5 years old and he will be starting Pre-K soon. We have a goldendoodle named Sophie. My daughter wants to become a lawyer and is also getting certified to do hair and make-up. My son, Jordan, plays football and basketball. Grayson hasn't chosen a sport yet, but he spends a lot of time in gyms and on the football field to cheer his big brother and father's team on.
I enjoy baking cakes and cupcakes, as you can see from the photos below. I also love doing crafts and making different projects that I find on my favorite place, Pinterest. I have a serious addiction to it and am constantly on it looking for my next project. My family and I enjoy spending time together and we have family dinner every Sunday with my parents and sister. It is a tradition that I enjoyed when I was a child, and I am so glad that my own children get to enjoy it also!
