    Welcome to Mrs. Riggle's Class!

First Grade is an exciting year for your student!

The goals for first graders is being able to read text fluently and master addition and subtraction facts through 20.

Some great things to do with your student at home would be to read Dr. Seuss books, practice the tricky sight words, and practice addition and subtraction flash cards.

  • Attention EPS families: due to overwhelming demand, we are now accepting reservations for Chromebooks at least through Thursday, April 9. Families who need a Chromebook should call our Information Technology department at 874-6801 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Please only call if you have no other device with which to connect to the Internet, so that we are able to distribute our limited number of devices to those families who are most in need.

As a reminder, Chromebooks are being loaned. They are district property and must be returned.

On Friday, March 13, 2020, your child brought home a purple folder with a yellow note stapled onto it. The yellow paper contains their login inforamtion for both CKLA Amplify reading and for i-ready Math.
